Comments from this year's event:
"Congratulations on a very well run Marathon !! Yesterday was my first Waterloo Marathon and I'm happy to recommend it."
"I have to say it exceeded my expectations. The runners, volunteers, and police officers were friendly and supportive; the kit pick-up, food pick-up, parking, and water stations were well organized; and as you know the day couldn't have been finer for a country run (you arranged that too, right? ;)). I'm going to talk this event up to my running buddies - great hidden gem."
"Just wanted to send you a note to congratulate you on a great event today! I've done a lot of half-marathons, full marathons and 10kms, and I can truly say that this was a well organized event; the people were very friendly and helpful."
"GREAT JOB again this year ! We all had a great time."
"Based on my experience, your event was very well organized. I thought the km markers in reverse order was unique and very good..
There were plenty of water stops, adequately placed, and well staffed by both police and volunteers. The repeated passing of St John's ambulances was an excellent feature. The pipers were also a class touch. The individualized food bag at the end was great.
"
"Great event, I really enjoyed it. Can't wait for next year!"
"I wanted to let you know that it was a great run yesterday. It was my first half marathon and I enjoyed every minute of it. Thank You, for organizing a great event! "
"I want to thank you for a very well run event. It was rare to see so many paramedics/ambulances, but certainly gave me an added level of comfort that they were close at hand."
"It was a great day. This was my third time in the waterloo marathon and each year has been better than the last for me personally in bettering my time. The volunteers have been great and I did really enjoyed it. I was impressed by the number of St. John's and
police vehicles along the marathon route."
"It was a great event and you should be really proud of yourself. You and all of the other helpers did a tremendous job!
